Motivating and Inspiring Others
Willing employees produce better quality work and faster than disgruntled employees.
There is a huge difference when your staff works hard because they are motivated or inspired to do so. Making someone do something they don't want to do is unnatural and may in many cases produce results that are not what the employer is expecting.
When you understand the practice of inspiring your people, there is an energy behind the work produced. Employees feel part of the solution, they want to produce work that they can be proud of and feel as if they are making a difference.
The cliche, "Getting more bees with honey" seems to fit well under this coaching element. The truth is, there is a population of employees who are difficult to motivate or inspire, especially with something other than money, but finding out what motivates your team or what gives them professional satisfaction can be the start to process efficiencies and improved quality.
