Effective Communication
Controlling the vehicles, frequency and techniques are all ways to master communication.
One way communication or "talking at" may have it's place, however, obtaining buy-in or learning to become an effective communicator is an art and can make a world of difference in your life. Businesses desire strong communicators at the helm.
Relationships of any kind can thrive with open communication. Individuals who understand that listening is a component of communicating will have better results. Written, verbal and non-verbal methods of communication are all ways to relay a message, but getting the message across in a clear and concise way sends a more effective message.
Formal communication at work can and should be different than casual communication at home. Understanding the many facets of communication can open up the many opportunities to connect with people and accomplish goals.

One of Candy's greatest talents is her ability to communicate effectively through all levels of an organization. She is extremely gifted at choosing the right words for a clear, concise message, delivered in a meaningful way. Her superior communication style allows the message to have immediate impact. Through trust, respect, and hard work, Candy quickly builds relationships with those around her. She looks, she listens, she smiles and she genuinely cares. It is because of this relationship building process that Candy excels at aligning the talent with the job functions in an organization. In addition, watching her rally a group of people around a cause is similar to the neighborhood scene of children flocking to the ice cream truck or having thousands of followers on Twitter.
